Peer support

In addition to being treated by a psychologist, many people like to talk to someone who has themselves, experienced what it is like to be a client. If you don't have anyone in your immediate environment to whom you can tell your story, our recovery workers are there for you. They have undergone treatment themselves and are trained as care providers and peer support specialists. They know better than anyone what it means to receive a (possible) diagnosis, to deal with it and best of all, to recover.

The recovery process is different for everyone. Our peer support specialists take time to listen to your personal story without judging. Together with a peer support specialist you can reflect on the impact a diagnosis means to your life. You can also ask to receive help putting skills and advice from treatment into practice.

Do you have questions for one of our peer support specialists or would you like to make an appointment? Please contact our peer support by email or your therapist.
