Cancelling an appointment
If you need to cancel an individual or group appointment, you must do so well in advance, that is, within at least 24 hours. If we are not immediately available (for example in the evening or at the weekend), you can leave a voicemail. In this way we can then offer someone else this slot and together we keep care accessible and waiting times down.
Avoid cancellation fees
If you do not cancel your appointment on time (that is within 24 hours in advance), we are obliged to send you an invoice of €65. You will receive this invoice through e-mail. These costs are not reimbursed by the health insurance. If possible, the telephonist will schedule a telephone appointment or arrange email contact with you at the time of your actual appointment. In this case, you will also see this short consultation on your invoice from your health insurer.
There are 3 exceptions, we will not send an invoice after a cancelled appointment, with less than 24 hours’ notice
- If you are the victim of a traffic accident
- If you yourself (or your loved one) is acutely admitted to a hospital
- If you experience a death in your immediate family (partner or blood relative)
